Mommy turned 60 today, although you would never know it by looking at her. She is beautiful inside and out. She is so very young at heart. Mommy's happiness comes easy, all she needs is to be surrounded by her family (and every now and then Mickey and a sandy beach!) My Mommy is my angel. She is my encourager and protector. She is always there for me. I love her and look forward to spending 100 more birthdays together!
Tonight Mommy, Daddy, Poppy, Jame and I had yummy yummy dinner and some ridiculously delicious brownies. Mommy gave Jamie his bath and then laid in bed with him until he fell asleep.
Life is good and it is all a gift from Jesus.
The Lord has blessed us with two miracles and we couldn't be more grateful!
Lucy
She felt the warmth of her mommy's womb then she felt the arms of Jesus rescue her.

Settling Back In
It takes me freakn' forever to get over my "vacation depression" as I call it when I get home from a trip. But I think I'm finally settling back in. I am stupidly behind on my blog posts... by about a month and a half, soon to be 2 months behind. It is one of my top priorities right now so I'll be blogging every night as long as I have a chance.
Jamie has fallen into a new sleep routine which is working pretty well for us. He hasn't been napping and now he is asleep super early. Last night before 8pm, tonight just before 9. I really don't care when he chooses to go to sleep. I'm not a schedule person, he'll sleep when he's tired and eat when he's hungry. But I will say I am a fan of the earlier bedtime.
Jamie is back in gymnastics now. He was supposed to start last Tuesday, but schools were closed for snow so they closed recreation activities too. I don't have him signed up for anything else right now because my focus is to be low stress. Very low stress. I'm not really in the mood to leave my house. I just want to be still. I was so extremely busy last month I was absolutely miserable and that can't happen again anytime soon. My body needs to be ready to grow these dear little babies so if I don't want to leave my house so be it.
I still have my little Home and Hospital teaching job. However the poor little girl I'm supposed to be teaching hasn't shown up for one session yet. So we'll see where it goes from here. Timmy and I have agreed that I will only teach one student at a time and this student is supposed to last the rest of the year. Its just too much on our little family for me to be away from home anymore than that. Jamie really suffered last month when I was teaching the high school student and I won't let that happen again. We've always said we'd live as humble as necessary in order for me to be home.
We are looking forward to preschool starting again. I think we may start the first week of February and then break after my transfer so I can just get lots of rest and not worry about having the house super clean every Wednesday and Friday. Jamie has been asking when his friends are coming over. He really loves preschool in our home and so do I.
Timmy has been pretty slow as far as work goes so we've had him home a lot lately which is great. He has been super busy around the house cleaning room by room. He is a really big help. God gave me a great gift in him.
Tomorrow is my mommy's 60th birthday. She wanted nothing more than to come here for dinner (well besides a Disney vacation!!!) She has requested my turkey meatloaf and home made spaghetti sauce with brownies for dessert. It will be a fun peaceful little celebration and I am looking forward to it.

Disney Day 7
January 8, 2011
Wow, what a day!!!!!
We started the morning over in Hollywood Studios with a super special
breakfast buffet at Hollywood and Vine.
Jamie pretty much got a personal breakfast with Oso, Manny, and June and
Leo from the Little Einstiens. For
whatever reason there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and Jamie got to hold
hands with all the characters and walk around the place. My personal favorite was Oso because he is
brand new and super cute. The food wasn’t
that greatest, but it was WELL worth it because Jamie had SO much fun!!!!!! From there we watched the Playhouse Disney
stage show again, met the Einstiens 2 more times and my favorite of the day….
Lotso from Toy Story 3. He was so cuddly
and huge!!! What fun! Then we rode Toy
Story Mania again and headed back to the resort so we could rest for a few
hours. Jamie was loosing it and so was
I! It was nice to take a family
nap. When we woke up we headed to the
Magic Kingdom for the Main Street Electrical Parade. It was fantastic and it was so fun to watch
Anabelle and Jamie watch the parade.
Jamie gets so stinkn excited. He
points, jumps up and down and dances all around. We rode Pirates, Small World, The People Mover,
Buzz and drank tons of hot chocolate. We
stayed until park close. Tomorrow is our
last full day and according to the weather forecast we are facing a huge ice
storm beginning in Georgia for the drive home.

Disney Day 6
January 7, 2011
Today we tried to be the “Family of the Day” at the Magic
Kingdom, seeing as we almost were the FOD 2 days ago. While our efforts were valiant we just didn’t
get there early enough, oh well. The
Magic Kingdom is certainly magical enough without being FOD. We headed right to the Tomorrow Land Speedway
this morning. Jamie chose to ride with
Ga Ga and they had a great time! Then it
was off to the Tea Cups. Alice rode too,
right in the cup next to Daddy and Jamie!!!!
How neat! Jamie met Alice for
pictures after the ride. We also headed
back to Toontown for a walk through Minnie’s house, a ride on Goofy’s Barn
Stormer (which scared the living pee out of my mother, meanwhile you only have
to be 35” to ride it) and we also got more pictures with the mice of honor,
Mickey and Minne. We then used our fast
passes for Pooh Bear and then met up with Pinochio. In Jamie’s words “But I never got to meet him
yet!” After hanging with Pinnochio Ga Ga
took Jamie on Small World and Timmy and I headed over to ride Big Thunder and
get a good spot for the parade. I didn’t
ever ride any of the Magic Kingdom Mountains until our honeymoon. I still don’t like Space Mountain, but Big
Thunder is fun and Splash Mountain is my favorite!!!!!!
Jamie fell asleep on Small World so I gorged myself on
popcorn and a carmel apple while watching the afternoon parade with Timmy and
Mommy. Wonderfuly fun!!! Since Jamie was asleep we took time to really
explore Main Street. Timmy had a
“Secrets of Disney” app on his phone and
we used it to find little details on Main Street USA that are easily over
looked. It was really nice just
wondering around slowly looking at all the neat things. We took the monorail back to the Boardwalk
via EPCOT and got ready for the Hoop de Doo Revue. It was Timmy’s first time and he LOVED
it! It was Jamie’s first time too and he
loved it equally as much. What a great
dinner show. We all had a super duper
awesome time! When we got back to the
Boardwalk we waited for Timmy to pee and a juggler, magic guy came right up to
Jamie gave him his own personal show! I
love Disney!

Disney Day 5
January 6, 2011
Animal Kingdom
Today was kinda chilly rainy and cloudy when we woke up so
we weren’t in a rush to get out too soon.
We made our way over to the Animal Kingdom around 9:30. We got our fastpasses for the Safari and
headed over to Camp Minnie Mickey to meet all the characters in their safari
gear. We met Thumper and his girlfriend
Miss Bunny, Chip and Dale, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald.
And guitar Dan was there too!!!!! We met him this time last year over at Conservation Station where he sang a fantastic song all about Jamie and Anabelle as they danced around. Well he made another so cute song all about them again!!!! It was sooo neat!
Then we hopped on the Safari to see all kinds of animals.
Timmy walked the Pagnani Trail and got amazing shots of this baby gorilla, who is the same age as Violet!
We had a yummy lunch at Flame Tree and then walked over to see the tigers in Asia.
We also went to Dino Land and road the Triceratops Spin.
While we were riding we saw Pluto and Goofy together so we hopped off to get our pictures.
The kids were really patient about waiting in lines today. Actually Anabelle seems to be patient most of the time, Jamie is still acquiring that skill. However if he has his Anabelle with him, Jamie is usually content. We are going to be going through some major withdrawl at the end of the week!! The plan after Dino Land was to head to Festival of the Lion King. Well Jamie and Anabelle didn’t quite make it. Anabelle fell asleep on the way and Jamie fell asleep just before it started!!! Oh well. I loved the show. I hadn’t seen it for a couple years. It was fantastic. Disney does everything the best ever. Since Jamie was asleep we decided to head back to the Boardwalk. He woke up in the lobby and looked at me and said “Where I am?” It took about an hour for him to be fully awake and happy. After he had his wits about him we headed over to EPCOT. I love staying at the Boardwalk because you can walk right over to EPCOT or the Studios. We rode Journey into the Imagination with Figment and then rode Living with the Land. Then I got to eat my most favorite meal at EPCOT… beet and goat cheese salad!!!! Yummo!!!!! Next we headed off to The Living Seas to ride Nemo again. It is so neat to see how much Jamie loves doing all of this and to remember back to his first 3 trips and how his reaction to things has changed. We met up with the Wilsons after Nemo and headed over to the “ball.” I love riding Spaceship Earth, especially since they redid it. It’s super fun at the end where you get to create your own future. The Wilsons headed off to watch Illuminations and we headed over to the Character Connection. We met Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. (We didn't have the camera, but got all the pictures from photopass.) So much stink’n fun!!!!! Jamie’s new thing is to tell the characters he has a special dance for them and to tell them to watch him. He also likes to tickle them and ask them 5000 questions, which of course they can’t answer. “How are you?” “Where’s Minnie?” “How’s Goofy?” Then he tells them “Smile for the picture!” He also loves to sing the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song to all of them as well. Most of them really get a kick out of it. After rubbing elbow with the celebrities we headed back to the Boardwalk. We stopped in the sweet shop to get Mr. Man a strawberry ice cream. While Jamie and I were doing that Timmy was getting me a funnel cake!!!!!!!!!! Oh my word yummy yummy yummy! Tomorrow is Magic Kingdom… again! By far my favorite park.
